SELECTIVE MUTISM
Selective Mutism is an anxiety disorder in which a person who is otherwise capable of speech
becomes unable to speak when exposed to specific situations, places or people.
The film dives into the world of a character with a history of trauma,
unfolding scenes that oscillate between reality and imagination,
ultimately representing her inner reality as a stream of consciousness.
Through the voice-over, the dreamlike sequence takes the viewer on a journey of struggle, peace, ferocity, silence and the ache for self-acceptance.
Can a sense of belonging be realized or is it only a dream?
