IF ONLY YOU COULD TOUCH ME Participatory Performance at BcmA Gallery, Berlin, 2024
'IF only you could touch me' is a participatory performance where the importance of physical connection in the era of digital intimacy is put to the test. The audience is invited to sit on a chair, close their eyes and listen to an audio narration of a text that the artist wrote. The text is a simulating narrative about the power of touch. Some of the participants were touched, while others were not. As a live experiment it was interesting to see if the ones that weren't touched felt like they missed something or the power of visualization is just enough. What are the feelings that touch and the absence of it can evoke and what is the relationship between the body, memory and mind?

A visceral exploration of the concept of impermanence and its emotional impact through movement, stillness and nonverbal vocal expression. The historical Mitte Museum reminiscent of Nazi time functions as the perfect backdrop for the examination of the relationship between space, time, the audience and the performer.

‘I AM TIRED OF FORCING MYSELF TO BE SOMETHING THAT I AM NOT:
I GIVE UP.’
The above recorded phrase is playing from a speaker close to the performer. He is tied with ropes onto a chair placed in the middle of a highlighted square on the floor. The viewers are witnesses of an experiment. They can go as close as the want or they can watch from far; reflecting on their own existence, free will and the idea of surrender.

ADJURE Group Performance at Culterim Gallery, Berlin, 2022
Adjure is a site-specific performance/installation piece. The performance took place in an underground bunker and was designed to take visitors on a journey of intense human compositions. Nine performers were isolated and trapped in separate rooms, each infused with a desire to escape that created a sense of urgency and action. The performance builds to a crescendo, with the visitors becoming fully immersed in the intense and emotional experience.
